Job Description

    The candidate must be well organised, confident, with strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills, must have problem solving abilities, leadership qualities and must be a good coordinator.Responsibilities:
    • To accurately prepare pre-shipment & post-shipment export documents in line with insurance, customs, regulatory authorities, foreign customers and bank s requirements in MS Excel / Tally Prime for Air, Sea and Sample shipments by courier.
    • To handle, negotiate and book local and marine freight (air and sea) for safe and the fastest possible delivery of export cargos in cost effective manner while maintaining communication and control throughout the freight journey.
    • To manage end to end insurance cover and deal with insurance agency in case of claims.
    • To liaise and coordinate with local manufacturers, local transporters, CHAs, freight forwarders, overseas customers and their nominated agents for timely, efficient, cost effective and safe delivery of export cargos to the consignees / buyers.
    • To negotiate export documents with the bank for different payment terms including Letter of Credits and ensure timely GR closure in EDPMS for each shipment.
    • To handle and manage DGFT related work.
    • To handle and manage ECGC related work and actively monitor buyers credit limits with ECGC.
    • To maintain and update all shipments related activities and data in excel sheet on daily basis for monitoring purpose and for records.
    • Prepare and provide PoE of the cargo to the respective manufacturer on completion of the shipment.
    • To monitor and ensure timely release of Duty Drawback and RoDTEP benefits for Export.
    Experience Requirements:Minimum 5 years of similar experience in exporting Pharma products is a must.,
