Job Description

This Senior SLP Manager s ultimate success will be measured by how they assist with the development of and driving the implementation of a standardized, cost effective and efficient security and loss preventionprograms for the FC s, ATS, AMZL and GSF network. These will be measured by agreed upon objectives and metrics related to key areas such as the level and quality of customer service provided, access control and theft prevention effectiveness, and the protection of our employees and visitors as well as improvements to non-security department related productivity (such as employee retention, business continuity, product and equipment dependability, continuous flow for operations impacted by security systems, etc.)Role is based out of Mumbai, Full time Bachelor Degree from accredited university10 + years of experience in one or all of the following disciplines loss prevention, asset protection, transportation/supply chain security, guard force utilization, and investigations4+ years experience in a customer service driven environment7+ years leading loss prevention and inventory shrink reduction effortsExperience in security and loss prevention within supply chain and/or express distribution and courier services.Decision Making/ Problem Solving- demonstrate ability to proactively gather the right data from appropriate sources, probe/consider all of the facts, consider other perspectives; conduct root cause analysis; draw sound inferences; prioritize key factors; act decisively, promptly and confidently; flexible in approach; able to operate with limited guidance from managementExperience in planning, scheduling and tracking project timelines and milestones using appropriate toolsExperience developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentationsExperience in developing targeted shrink reduction programs and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentationsExperience managing project scope changes, identifying potential crises, and devising contingency plansFamiliarity with security equipment such as intrusion detection devices, access control systems, and CCTVsProficient with MS Office Professional Suite, including intermediate knowledge of ExcelExperience leading teams and providing management, leadership and mentoring to team members as neededAble to work in an industrial environment that requires walking up to 5 miles a day and ability to lift up to 20 lbs.Prepared to undertake Up to 50% travel (domestic) and occasional international travelsAbility to carry out and supervise all phases of an investigation at a professional level.Expertise in supply chain security management in international environment.Ability to conduct risk analysis assessmentsActs as an internal advisor in response to requests assistance for the research and deployment of state-of-the-art security technology solutions and innovative security management techniques.Internally, develops networks and strategies throughout all functions and levels to influence, convince and drive global security initiatives. Briefs operations management on the status of security issues emerging threats.Results oriented leader that possesses strong influencing skill and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment, with demonstrated ability to develop and manage functional team and manage budget.Strong familiarity with data bases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, MYSQL, Access, Exception Based Reporting, etc.Experience with warehouse, distribution center, or electronic transaction based servicesFamiliarity with Lean Six Sigma concepts and certificationInterviewing and Interrogation experience desired and Wicklander and Zulawski certification is preferredWorkplace Violence and/or Business Continuity experienceImplement TAPA or similar globally recognized standards provide that could provide a set of security requirements specific enough to be effective for variety of risk environments.Extensive experience in retail loss prevention, corporate security and workplace safety. Experience designing and implementing investigative tactics including interviewing and documentation. Considerable knowledge of laws and practices of investigations and workplace safety. Considerable knowledge of current security technology including access control, CCTV, identification and special applications. High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information; excellent judgment, discretion and diplomacy. Must exhibit excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
