Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Ensure capacity utilization of plant and machinery to achieve targeted production and efficiency
  2. Ensure first time right in terms of quality of the final products to avoid re-processing time & Cost Ensure process optimization in order to achieve revenue and production budget
  3. Maintain day- to- day inventory of Raw Materials, In process materials and Finished Products Ensure documentation and updating of daily reports, cleaning & calibration all other relevant records
  4. Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance of plant & equipment
  5. Ensure and take appropriate measures for process up gradation and continual improvement in terms of yield, utilities consumption and effluent reduction.
  6. Ensure quality of products to meet customers specifications& needs
  7. Responsible for safety of personal, facilities and equipment by implementing initiatives like shift wise Tool Box Talk, Plant Safety Audit, adherence to permit system and other good manufacturing practices
  8. Preparation of plant performance report and submit the same to management on weekly & monthly basis
  9. Ensure productivity and efficiency of employees by clearly defining duties & responsibilities; set KRAs and create their career progression plan
  10. Implementation and monitoring of SOPs, ISO,5S, KAIZEN and other safety standards and processes in the plant.
  11. Lead and motivate employees and ensure that they receive appropriate support, training and development to achieve their potential
  12. Liasioning with Govt. bodies and ensure 100% compliance in terms of all applicable Act & Rules.
  13. Monitor the development in industrial area, participate in local body meeting and appraise management on developments
Desired Candidate Profile
  1. Should have an experience in Formaldehyde or Phenolic Resins or Speciality Chemical and Paint Chemical.
  2. B.E/B.Tech Chemical
  3. Well versed with Telugu language.
