Job Description

    Job Title/Designation:Commi 1 (Indian/Chinese) - Male - Vadodara/Baroda - UrgentJob Summary:Under the guidelines of the superiors carry out the daily mis-en place, is responsible for preparing the daily orders in the kitchen & carries out the day to day functions in the kitchen.Established Duties
    • To abide by the Mission statement.
    • To abide by the values and rules of the hotel.
    • Ensure proper and clean attire & uniforms.
    • Check all norms laid down by the department for personal hygiene.
    • Ensure mis-enplace has been done before the next shift has comes in.
    • To take decisions on certain work operations in the absence of the chef.
    • Ensure cleanliness of the work area and storage places.
    • Co-ordinate with co-workers to facilitate smooth workflow of kitchen operations.
    • Preparing daily guest orders and other functions as required by the various kitchens.
    Eco and cost control Responsibilities
    • To follow energy conservation methods
    • To follow three bin rule religiously for recycling of paper
    • To follow water conservation methods
    • To follow and educate eco-methods to other fellow friends and acquaintances
    • General cost awareness (Expensive ingredients or raw material)
    • To follow the Ecotel Manual
