Job Description

    Primary Purpose: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Processing & Evaporator Operator to join our team of Bankai Agrifood. The Processing & Evaporator Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the processing and evaporator equipment in our dairy plant. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of dairy processing operations and possess excellent technical and troubleshooting skills. This is a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient production of high-quality dairy products.Key Accountabilities/Activities:Operate equipment:
    • Operate process equipment as per the production schedule, ensuring efficient and accurate production runs.
    • Operate the evaporator equipment, following the specified requirements and instructions.
    • Ensure process parameters are maintained as per the laid-down standards to ensure consistent product quality.
    • Carry out any assigned tasks by superiors in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Supply standardized milk to the packing department within the required time frame.
    Maintain Hygiene and records:
    • Maintain good hygienic conditions and housekeeping in the section, adhering to food safety and quality standards.
    • Clean, sanitize, and maintain the evaporator equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with hygiene standards.
    • Carry out CIP (Clean-in-Place) procedures for tanks, milk lines, PHE packing machines, and perform manual cleaning of duplex filters after every operation.
    • Perform manual cleaning of pipelines, tanks, and vats according to the schedule provided, keeping accurate records of cleaning activities.
    • Fill in the process logbook in detail for each shift, recording relevant information and observations.
    • Clean and sanitize/sterilize all process equipment, silos, and storage tanks to maintain hygiene and prevent cross-contamination.
    • Ensure that CIP parameters, including temperature, time, and strength, are correctly maintained during the cleaning process.
    • Maintain discipline within the section, adhering to company policies and guidelines.
    • Coordinate with other departments such as QC, Milk Packing, and Maintenance to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
    Work Relations:
    • Reporting to Production Manager for all Functional as well as administrative purposes.
    • Second level reporting to COO
    • Interface with Production, Quality Control, Maintenance, Procurement, Engineering teams
    • Interface with HR Teams- Plant HRBP, Admin Teams
    Experience:Essential: 5 to 7 Years in Processing Plant & Evaporator Operation
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in dairy processing is a plus. (ITI / XII / Graduate)
    • Previous experience as a Processing and Evaporator Operator in a dairy plant or food processing environment is preferred.
    • Knowledge of hygienic practices, food safety regulations, and quality standards.
    • Familiarity with operating process equipment, evaporators, and CIP procedures.
    • Ability to follow instructions, maintain accurate records, and work with minimal supervision.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
    • Good communication and coordination skills to collaborate with other departments effectively.
    • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Flexibility to work in shifts and weekends as required.
    Work Environment: 24 X 6 (6 days a week)Shift Details: General Shift. (09:00 AM 5:00 PM), Shifts might rotate
