Job Description

    ConveGenius supports multiple central, state, and district government education departments, CSRs, and social purpose organisations to plan, design and implement large-scale EdTech programs to create a sustainable educational impact in India. This involves co-creating and implementing comprehensive project plans, coordinating with partner organisations and providing technology platforms to monitor and evaluate the EdTech program. This requires efficient management of multiple, ambiguous work streams with tight deadlines, and consistent engagement with government officials and partner organisations at various levels of seniority.The Sr./Program Manager will play an important role in ensuring that the programs are implemented in an efficient and effective manner as per the defined KPIs. The Sr./PM will be expected to adapt to ambiguous circumstances, effectively respond to government and partner requests, and strengthen the CGs mission of EdTech for Naya Bharat.Passion. intrapreneurial spirit, and grit are just a few of the things that ConveGenius team members have in common. An ideal candidate will have a blend of the private sector and impact sector experience, an eagerness to work within a start-up environment, and a long-term commitment to the development of the education sector in India.Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Take ownership of the project and manage it end-to-end, lead a high-quality team and effectively break down workstreams and ensure high-outcome orientation Prepare strategic roadmaps and implementation plans with goals and milestones Identify operational bottlenecks and weaknesses, and devise resolution pathways along with the team Develop and manage strong working relationships with the key bureaucrats at the state level and key leaders at the partner organisations Collaborate effectively with the internal teams as per the needs of the program Manage day-to-day operations and liaise with the state to ensure the required buy-in, inputs, permissions and resources are made available Actively build internal capabilities and support team members by sharing learnings, providing feedback, and ensuring their training and development Develop comprehensive reports, decks, and case studies on the programs and share regular updates with management as required.Required Qualification, Skills And Abilities Bachelors or equivalent degree from a top-tier institution, At least 5 years of relevant work experience with some managerial responsibilities and a track record of excellence, Familiarity and exposure to the field of education and educational technology, Excellent program, stakeholder and team-management skills including the ability to connect with people across lines of difference, Ability to design, plan and implement large-scale programmes, Extremely high analytical, synthesis and problem-solving abilities, Prior work experience in a fast-paced environment and/or start-up organisation, Work under tight deadlines in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment to achieve targets independently and under pressure, Good research, writing and communication skills and comfortable representing the program externally, High level of flexibility and responsiveness to organisational requirements, Management/ strategy consulting background is preferred, Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Data crunching and analysis,
