Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities
  • To accept approved Purchase requisitions from all departments.
  • To float enquiry for timely obtaining quotations from different vendors and to ensure that received quotations are in line with specifications.
  • To make commercial comparisons and to make negotiations for Price, Delivery and other terms & conditions.
  • To prepare purchase orders in SAP, sending P.O. to vendors.
  • To coordinate with several stakeholders e.g. With stores to ensure proper documentation and proper GR, To follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials and to ensure timely payments of vendors in coordination with accounts.
  • To prepare service orders of all service orders received and to maintain proper documentation of all the POs and PRs.
  • Sourcing of new vendors/alternate vendors for materials, cost reduction of materials, New vendor developments.
  • To do vendor audits, vendor visits and vendor management.
    • Desired Candidate Profile Candidate must be from a Pharma API / chemicals companies. Must have worked on Sourcing of MRO, Spares, Lab chemicals, QC Etc. Must be willing to work in a plant Must know SAP ,
