Job Description

    We have installed number of state of the art Controlled Atmosphere storage, Modified atmosphere storage, frozen Chambers, IQF, Ice plants facilities globallyJob Description / Responsibilities: This is mechanicaldesign and engineeringposition responsiblefor creatingmechanicaldesignsolutions for Fruits and Vegetables sorting, grading, conveying system for customers worldwide. This position calls for leading themechanicaldesignactivities for performing complexdesignand analysis ofmechanicalsystems.Essentials:
    • Knowledgeand demonstratedexperienceusing CAD softwaretools likePTC Pro-Engineer (PRO-E), Solid Works,
    • Competency in Analysis Simulation tools.
    • Knowledge in conveying system (belt conveyors, roller conveyor, and other type) sorting, grading line for fruits and vegetables, Food Processing Line Knowledge.
    • Perform a full lifecycleproduct development (design, develop, testprototypes, and implement for manufacture).
    • Designsystems and components that meet needs and requirements.
    • Produceoutlinedesigns/designconcepts.
    • Estimatebudget and scopeofproject.
    • Conductexperiments methodically, analyzedata and interpret results.
    • Test andevaluatetheoreticaldesigns.
    • Interact with cross-functional teams andengineersfrom other disciplines, to understand various requirements in developing thedesignand implementing its manufacture.
    • Prepare3Dengineeringdesignmodels &engineeringdrawings of assemblies, sub-assemblies and components of theproduct for manufacture.
    • PrepareBill of Materials. Generating part specifications in thedatabase,
    • Interact with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and vendors foreffectivemanufactureof components.
    • Performproduct verification toevaluatetheproducts overall performance, reliability and safety.
    • Alter and modifydesignto meet requirements and toeliminatemalfunctions. Prepareproduct reports and documentation.
    Requirements / Skills :
    • First Class Bachelors degreeinMechanicalEngineering.
    • Proven workingexperienceinmechanicalengineering, preferably in thedesignand development ofproducts such as conveying, sorting and grading line of fruits and vegetables and Food Processing Line.
    • Solid understanding of coreconcepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials scienceetc.
    • Familiarity with 2D or 3Dengineeringdesignand manufacturing tools (AutoCAD,Creo/Pro-E, Solid Works)
    • Familiarity with variousengineeringmaterials (primarily Plastics and Metals) and themanufacturingprocessesemployed in makingproducts using thesematerials.
    • Organizational skills, such as timeand resourceplanning and theability to work under pressure.
    • Good oral and written communication skills and confidencein dealing with a widerangeof people, including clients, contractors,designers, directors and operators.
    • Technical writing skill
    Desired profile of the candidate Candidate should be have been engaged in designsolutions for Fruits and Vegetables sorting, grading, conveying system with their components for minimum of 7-10 years.Educational Qualification- Engineering (or equivalent) degree/Diploma in Mechanical/or related field requiredDesired work experience (in complete years): Minimum: 8 yearsLocation of posting: Dhanot/Flexible to travel if required (for clients interaction/sites)
