Job Description

    Majorly Responsible for entire logistics and supply chain activities and documentation of the entire group, along with commercial activities related to Excise, Service Tax and Customs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Will be responsible for handling the EXIM (export & import) related activities and Documentation along with Supply Chain Requirements for the entire group companies.
    • Responsible for entire logistics movements by Ocean / Air for both Inbound & Outbound movements.
    • Liaise & negotiate with freight forwarders, transporters, custom clearing agents and other related vendors there by managing the entire order cycle in the supply chain process efficiently.
    • Will be required to handle technical details relating to all possible international transportations, such as customs regulations and any necessary documentations involved.
    • Will be required to efficiently evaluate the costs of transportation, services and take measure to improve supply chain efficiency and reducing overall logistics cost.
    • Responsible for handling national and international import/export legislations and must be able to effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise in international freight transportations. Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
    • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
    • Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
    • Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
    • Any additional responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
