Job Description

As an established company in India, we specialize in turnkey projects, offering innovative and sustainable solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients across various industries.Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to create accurate and precise 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software for our water and wastewater treatment projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our design and engineering teams by translating concepts and designs into technical drawings.Responsibilities:- Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and objectives.- Create 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD. software, ensuring accuracy, adherence to project specifications, and compliance with relevant standards.- Develop detailed layout plans, equipment and component drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and assembly drawings for water and wastewater treatment systems.- Incorporate design changes and revisions as directed by the engineering team, ensuring all drawings are up- to-date.- Review and verify drawings for technical completeness, clarity, and compliance with design standards and project requirements.- Coordinate with other draftsmen, engineers, and project teams to ensure seamless integration and coordination of drawings.- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of drawings, including version control and file management.- Collaborate with the procurement team to generate accurate material take-offs and bill of materials (BOMs) based on the drawings.- Stay updated on the latest AutoCAD software updates and industry best practices for drafting and design. - Assist in resolving any technical issues related to drawings and provide support during project execution.Qualifications:- Diploma or certification in Drafting or a related field. Additional certifications in AutoCAD are preferred.- Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, specifically in the field of water and wastewater treatment or related industries.- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D software, with a strong understanding of drawing standards and practices.- Sound knowledge of water and wastewater treatment systems, equipment, and components to accurately represent them in drawings.- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing the water and wastewater treatment industry in India.- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and error-free drawings within defined timelines.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with engineers, designers, and other project stakeholders.- Knowledge of other design software and tools, such as Autodesk Revit, will be an advantage.We offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for career growth within our dynamic and expanding organization in India.If you are proficient in AutoCAD and passionate about contributing to water and wastewater treatment projects, we would love to hear from you.
