Job Description

2+ years of Software Development experience in one or more of Java, JavaScript/Node.JS, React, or Go
Experience implementing, documenting, and consuming REST APIs
Experience in developing unit tests with JUnit, Mocha or equivalents
Experience with Agile development methodologies across multi-disciplinary teams
Experience working with Cloud Native Architectures
Experience with Git-based SCM, including Git flow, branching and releasing strategies
Understanding or experience of database persistence, SQL, NoSQL & Data Caches
Understanding or experience with event-driven application development using Kafka or other technologies
Understanding or experience with cloud native open-source technologies including containers, Kubernetes, service mesh/Istio, OpenTracing
Understanding or experience with automating CI/CD using Jenkins, Tekton, GitOps or equivalent
Understanding or experience in application modernization/migrating to Public clouds (IBM, AWS, Azure, Google etc.)
Understanding the development of bash or powerscript shell scripts for automation and continuous integration tasks (e.g. travis ci).
