Job Description

    Define and establish HR policies and processes for WBTL business and have an oversight of the recruitment operationsPartner with business to roll out all key people processes (performance management, compensation, benefits, engagement, development programs, etc.).Conduct induction and onboarding of new hires for WBTL (In Retail Operations, only for above store manager levels).Ensure timely initiation and completion of PMS process.Facilitate establishing KPIs by coordinating with Functional Heads for timely recording of yearly data.Manpower Planning: Liaise closely with the regional operations team to identify short-term and long-term hiring needs.Responsible for all HR policies and processes related communication to employees and business.Leverage 3rd party consultants for store level hiring - identifying 3P vendor, cost negotiation, finalizing vendor, etc. Build organizations professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners.Issue confirmation letter, extension letters of probation, increment letter, promotion letter, etc.Design and drive employee engagement process to measure engagement levels of employees at lounges and kiosks.Issue confirmation letter, extension letters of probation, increment letter, promotion letter, etc.Address employee queries and grievances.Provide monthly HR analytics reports and dashboards to concerned stakeholders.Major Job Responsibilities of the position includes:

    • The candidate should have sound knowledge on Organizational Development, Policy Development, Payroll management, Manpower Planning, Recruitment, Performance Management, Training & Development, Labor Laws, and Grievance Handling etc.
    • Responsible to make and implement Company HR & Compliance polices as per local law and different buyers code of conducts.
    • Should have sound knowledge on Labor Law, Factories Act, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Law and ILO convention Relevant on Garments sector in Bangladesh.
    • To prepare factory for facing different audit such as BSCI, SEDEX, COC Standard, social / ethical / environmental / technical / Supply Chain Security (SCS) / QMS audit.
    • Responsible for entire Recruitment, Selection, Placement, Compensation/Benefits, Legal Compliance/Code of Conduct, HR Administration, Fire, Health & Safety etc.
    • Handling Disciplinary, employee relation issues as per law.
    • To monitor training/awareness on regular basis.
    • Prepare job description of employees.
    • Communicate Compliance Auditors, Fire & Civil defense Department, Labor Office, Labor Court, Police Station, Local Influences and Labor Federation etc.
    • Responsible for all Human Resource & Administration related activities;
    • Design HR policies, procedures & updating of Organogram of the organization
    • Able to build up an HR team that can support different types of business in a diverse conglomerate;
    • Able to perform a sound balance between analysis and action;
    • To review Department wise cost effectiveness;
    • Formulate employee motivation factors, counseling, grievance and labor handling, conflict management etc;
    • To draw Action Plan & implement the same in line with the vision of the Company / Direction of the top Management to manage growth of the Organization;
    • To perform any other task as assigned by the management from time to time.
    Educational RequirementsMasters in Business Administration/ Public Administration / Management with concentration in HRM from reputed University.
