Job Description

    The Real Estate / Facility Management job family is responsible for the planning, development, construction, and maintenance of all buildings and grounds owned or leased by the organization. This includes all aspects of the real estate lifecycle from site selection and acquisition to disposition.Job holders manage the organizations fleet of vehicles, and all office and warehouse equipment and furniture. In addition, they are responsible for the security of all organization buildings and grounds, and for the safety of all employees, visitors, and contractors.The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. Leadership abilities and phenomenal efficiency can set you apart among our candidate pool.Core Duties:Plans and organises the efficient and cost-effective layout of facilities.Oversees the operation and maintenance of the organizations buildings and facilities.Maintains good compliance. with various policies and procedures.Ensures that all necessary licenses and permits are acquired.Negotiates contracts with vendors and maintain relationships.Estimates material and labour costs.Supervises overall operating and maintenance of organisations buildings.Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishmentsManaging the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standardsInspecting buildings structures to determine the need for repairs or renovationsPlan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishmentsReview utilities consumption and strive to minimize costsSupervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractorsControl activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.Handle insurance plans and service contractsKeep financial and non-financial recordsPerform analysis and forecastingRequirements and skills:Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant positionWell-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practicesKnowledge of basic accounting and finance principlesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and leadership skillsGood analytical/critical thinkingBachelor / master in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant fieldRelevant professional qualification will be an advantageCandidate preferred Male only and must have experience in real estateJob Type: Full-timeSalary: 40,000.00 - 50,000.00 per monthSchedule: Day shiftExperience: total work: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In person,
