Job Description

    Reporting to: Marketing HeadGrade: M5To drive product portfolio assigned, so as to achieve Top-line and bottom-line.Areas Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities 1. Business Strategy Collaborate with Marketing Manager and Division Head to define aspiration and strategy for Division To create a culture of strategic excellence and encourage others to think long-term, developing strategic advantage and pursue for opportunities for future development A strategic thinking and a result-driven doer, understands business needs, provide strategic support, find the solutions and put good ideas into action Responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the product. This involves printed and electronic promotional material, product training, and relevant clinical papers 2. Sales and Marketing Responsible for reviewing and analyzing monthly/quarterly/yearly data for estimating assigned product performance & market trend Delivery of brand sales objectives & market shares as per agreed measures To set the marketing direction for the brand assigned Interventions in all elements of the marketing mix- product, price, packaging, promotion and product placement strategies Reviewing AIOCD report, SMSRC Report and upcoming promotional plans Analyzing the market, competition & conducting market research to identify opportunities, threats & key issues Inter Departmental follow ups & maintain positive attitude that promotes teamwork Lead implementation of launch plan in close coordination with other stakeholders to ensure timely high quality product launch Support the strategy formulation for product launches 3. Finance Management Coordinating and assisting in developing annual brand budgeting & brand marketing plans Management of direct marketing costs within agreed measures in order to maximize returns on investment Responsible for preparing product forecasts, and constantly monitoring inventory levels held at central and interstate warehouses including liaison with production (locally and globally) to ensure supply timelinesKey InteractionsInternal Nature PMT Brand planning, Portfolio building, Articles, Gifts & Inputs, KOL discussions Regulatory Affairs/ NPD NPD, Product Planning, Scientific Finance Credit notes, Product pricing, GC Sales Team To track product/brand wise sales GDSO Supply chain External Nature Field Manager Proper execution of marketing strategy, Utilization of inputs Patients Patient management, Service provide Key Dimensions Financial 2 to 10 Cr (Lowest to highest ranges basis division s revenue & growth) Job Requirements Educational Qualifications B.sc, B.Pharma MBA Experience (Type & Nature) 3 to 5 Yrs. of Product Management Skills & Technical Competencies Marketing Strategy Planning & Brand Building Analytical Skills Strategic Agility Behavioral Competencies (Neev) Business Orientation Delivering Excellence Entrepreneurial Decision Making Working Across Boundaries,
