Job Description

  • As the Head of Quality Assurance at Saarus (a fully-owned manufacturing subsidiary of KOKO Networks), you will be required to meet global standards of quality for the production of our ethanol powered cookstove. You will lead a team of engineers and inspectors to apply Total Quality Management principles to instill a quality first approach throughout the organisation.
What you will do
  • Lead overall QC process in Press Shop, Injection Moulding, Powder coating and Assy. Processes
  • Facilitate Systemic Process & Product Audit
  • Calibration, MSA & continual improvements
  • Drive Product and Process Change through Change Management System
  • Ensure customer complaints and queries are handled within stipulated time
  • Implement QRQC across the plant
  • Preparing, Monitoring and reducing COPQ
  • Ensure proper disposition of non-confirming materials through MRB
  • Ensure implementation of ISO, EMS & OHSAS by being MR of the plant
What you will bring to KOKO/ Saarus
  • 15+ years of proven experience in QMS, HSE and IMS implementation
  • Knowledge and Practice of TQM
  • Strong understanding of process audits and improvement planning
  • Knowledge of testing procedures and Measuring Instruments
  • Analytical Ability & Problem Solving
  • Knowledge of Functional application software (ERP/SAP)
