Job Description

    Java DeveloperWe are looking for a Java Developer who will be responsible for managing the interchange ofdata between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all backendcomponents & server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the data stores, connecting theapplication with the other third-party services and ensuring high performance and responsiveness torequests from the front-end.ResponsibilitiesDesigning and developing scalable backend software and proofs of concepts (POCs)Leading the gathering of functional requirements, developing technical specifications, andproject & test planningActing as the technical subject matter expert: Demonstrating technical expertise, and leading asmall team solving challenging programming and design problemsRoughly 80-90% hands-on codingGenerate technical documentation to communicate architectural and design options, andeducate development teams and business usersResolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patchesWork cross-functionally with various COMPANY teams including: product management,QA/QE, various product lines, and/or business units to drive forward resultsDemonstrate a passion for developing well architected, elegant, web and/or mobile appsExperience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologiesSkillsexperience developing systems/software for large business environments (Java,Springboot)Experience in design and implementation of robust and highly scalable servicesStrong experience with Databases design - SQL (MySQL), NoSQL(DynamoDB, MongoDB,Cassandra)Practical experience in microservices & messaging technologies (REST, GraphQL,Kubernetes, Kafka, ActiveMQ)Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and a strong understanding of CS fundamentals.Skilled in software development lifecycle processes and experience with scrum, agile anditerative approachesExpertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)Expertise with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Expertise in the Software design/architecture process.Interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skillsAnalytical and problem-solving aptitudeOrganisational and time management skillsQualifications and ExperienceBachelors degree in computer science, information science, or similar.
