Qualification BE/B. Tech/M. Tech Computers/ Geoinformatics with PMP/Prince2 Certification
A total of 9 -12 years of experience with GIS technologies and GIS Project Execution.
Should have worked in lead positions in Govt. System GIS Projects.
Knowledge of handling GIS production teams filed survey teams.
Sub-contractors and vendor management.
Description
Establish Scope, Monitor, Review Measure Project deliverables. Define scope for Vendors in respect to Project requirements, Analyze gaps and plan
mitigations. Plan Project communication and establish it effectively. Documentation of progress reports and timely submission to senior management and client. Project schedule and execution process as per defined schedule. Quality assurance at every
stage of project execution. Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing all the risks throughout the
project. Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client
engagement from definition phase through implementation. Customization as per requirement, Customization of products and services based on client
requirements. Continuous technical support to clients for optimum utilization of products/services and
resolving/Escalating their queries within the time limit. Ensure Sign off from customers as per project plan. Peruse and collect payments as per Project milestones. Engage with vendors for their deliverables and establish strong contract terms mitigating
risks. Acts as SPOC between Client, Vendors, and Management.
Resources allocation. Define goals and objectives of the GIS functions.
Develop high-potential /skilled team in GIS division for new projects.
Analyze performance and make recommendations for improvement.
