Job Description

    The details of the position are:Company: Leading Insurance CompanyDesignation: Manager Risk EngineeringReporting to: AVP Risk ManagerLocation: AhmedabadWork Days: 5
    1. Quantitative Risk Assessment in Chemical, Petrochemical, Power Plant and related Industries.
    2. Risk Inspection & Assessment for Insurance Purposes Quality Monitoring and Inputs to underwriter
    3. Perform audits of the machinery, safety equipment and management programs to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety compliance with regulations & standards. Analysing consequences for the failure cases of hazardous releases using various software.
    4. Analysis and report or review findings from accident investigations,risk assessment, project monitoring and risk monitoring
    5. Review and provide design recommendations for new projects and proposed facility modifications to ensure conformance with process safety and loss prevention codes, standards and procedures
    6. Work on industrial accidents causes and preventive measures
    7. Comprehensive Safety Audit, Electrical Safety Audit
    Ideal Applicant:Education: Chemical Engineer from a reputed institutionExperience: 5+ years work experience in Safety and Risk. Industry: Worked in a industry preferably in chemical /petrochemical /power plant or an EPC consultancy company.Exposure:
    1. The person should have worked in a Chemical Manufacturing firm or in the manufacturing industry
    2. The person to have in depth experience in risk engineering of complex processes, suggesting /implementing risk mitigation measures in the project /operational stage, including conducting risk audits for project and operational facilities.Risk Assessment, Safety Audits, Electrical Safety Audits, The rmography Audits, Fire Protection Facility Gap Audit are the added advantage.
