Job Description

DescriptionOne SCM is a key line of defence for Vodafone and as such the Vodafone Procurement Company (VPC) follows the Vodafone s Three lines of defence model for managing risk & compliance: 1st line: VPC business and function leaders own and manage risks; 2nd line: VPC control functions, such as Finance, Operations, HR and Legal (including Risk and Compliance), who define the framework for managing risk and controls, monitor execution, challenge and advise 1st line; and 3rd line: Internal Audit (IA), who assess the design of the risk and control framework and its operations All 2nd line of defence activities (incl. risk and compliance) are summarised in a 7-pillars risk & compliance concept which is regularly reviewed at a quarterly oversight committee (Audit, Risk, Compliance and Security committee (ARCS)). To ensure integrated assurance, Group Compliance, Internal Audit and VPC teams work closely together. The 7-pillars risk & compliance concept includes: Risk management SCM Process controls Fraud Management and Investigations Business continuity Security Management Policy Compliance Anti-Bribery and H&S#_VOISJob Responsibility

  • Perform pro-active controls on all 7 OneSCM risk and compliance activities including testing (SOX). Develop & maintain control schedules.
  • Proposes and align mitigation plans for any control gaps identified and coordinates/ follows up on mitigation and remediation.
  • Generate own ideas in order to drive innovation and improvements in all 7 risk & compliance areas
  • Run an effective Compliance Framework in VPC an assure the controls set out in High Risk policies have been implemented
  • Acts as an OneSCM & VPC Risk & Compliance Officer and contact point for the corporate and the verticals risk & compliance management activities.
  • Assists in identifying and assessing OneSCM top risks, confirming the ownership of significant risks as well as implementing required control framework.
  • Ensure that the OneSCM process control framework meets the Groups quality standards and is regularly reviewed and maintained.
  • Drive implementation of digitally enabled controls to ensure full digital risk monitoring to One SCM and leverage automation of assurance processes including pro-active machine learning and alarming capabilities.
  • Manage and continuously improve the risk & compliance approach within OneSCM processes to assist, inform, direct, manage and monitor compliance activities towards minimisation of high priority audit actions.
  • Drive the execution of overall risk & compliance change & transformation to ensure they are consistent in every location
RequiredPrevious experience in Risk & Compliance or Internal Audit; Previous Experience in SOX Management; Knowledge in Business Continuity Management; At least 3 years of experience of working within telecoms or IT industry, preferably on both a global and a local level (optional) Ability to manage a wide range of strong working relationships with internal stakeholders A track record of delivering challenging targets Fluent in English (Oral and writing)SkillsSystem and Process TransformationBusiness PartneringGovernance ManagementProcess and Performance AnalyticsProject and Programme Management,
