Job Description

  • Troubleshoot as appropriate for successful execution with intimation to Team Leader and guide juniors/team as required
  • Guiding a team of chemists to meet productivity/ quality target
  • Train & develop team members, regularly monitor their performance
  • Prepare weekly/ monthly/ final reports as required
  • Meet productivity benchmarks of self and team
  • Cross functional interactions for better understanding and interpretation of analytical data.
  • Carry out detailed analysis of new project requests
  • Draft new project proposals including technical, planning and cost estimation details
  • Support project manager in finalizing the estimation of the project by identifying relevant literature and proposing appropriate synthetic routes
  • Write detailed specification documents based on client requirements.
  • Guide team members/juniors on safety protocols and ensure compliance
Job requirements
  • Have a passion for chemistry as well as being open to continuous learning and education
  • Strong knowledge of software tools such as Reaxys,Scifinder,MS Office
  • Be highly organized with the ability to work independently in a fast paced team environment
  • Ability to work in a team in a transparent and entrepreneurial culture
  • Self-motivated with initiative to reach challenging targets
  • Good business writing and proofing skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
