Role: Sr. Java DeveloperLocation: Ahmedabad, GandhinagarExperience: 6 yearsResponsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design, develop, and implement Java applications that are robust, scalable, and efficient, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Write well-designed, clean, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues in existing Java applications, identifying and implementing solutions to enhance functionality and performance. Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the development team. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and advancements in Java development, and apply this knowledge to improve. development processes and techniques. Collaborate in the design and implementation of database structures, APIs, and integration points to ensure seamless communication between various software system components. Write and maintain technical documentation related to code, algorithms, and system architecture. Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, contributing to sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and sprint retrospectives.Qualifications:- Experience with Java v17 or higher, Spring Framework, MS SQL Server- Test-driven development using JUnit- Experience with Web scraping, XML, XSLT, REST/API, Swagger- Experience with Web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Any JavaScript library/framework experience- Experience with AWS- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git- CI/CD with Jenkins- Good exposure to Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies- Excellent communication skills- Good exposure to enterprise-level projects- Should be able to mentor the team members technically and can do code reviews- Should be able to do technical documentation- Good to have Apache Solr, Karaf and Docker.The Gateway Corp is a privately held global enterprise headquartered in India and The Netherlands.
