Job Description

    The Web Developer (PHP Developer) will be focused on creating web applications, websites and solutions for robust reporting and tracking of NCrypteds key business and site/service drivers. This position requires the ability to analyze the project, including pre-project preparations right towards its successful coding and development and beyond. In this role, you will implement and maintain accepted best practices for data analysis, data extraction and report presentation.

    This role requires working with external client data resources, internal business units (operations and systems) and internal technical resources to maintain quality data management.

    PHP Developer Job (Ahmedabad) - Responsibilities:
    • The Web Developer/PHP Programmer will be part of programming teams (department) responsible for the development of NCrypted web-service applications primarily in PHP, MySQL using Apache and Linux.
    • You will be responsible for developing production-level code as well as proof-of-concepts and prototypes.
    • You will take full responsibility of your individual modules, tasks and projects and utilize your hands-on experience to interface and collaborate on parallel projects.
    • You will work primarily on PHP, MySQL (LAMP), Ajax, Javascript, XHTML, CSS, XML and object-oriented design, HTTP, and Apache/IIS 5.0 or later.
    • You will be working within a Windows/Linux and primarily open-source environment at Ahmedabad office.
    • Work closely with project managers and other members of the development team to draft specific project timeline checklists with proper risk analysis based on project requirement documents.
    • Communicate with internal project teams and project manager on regular basis for updates
    PHP Developer Job - Required Skills:
    • Should have Working knowledge of PHP, MySQL (LAMP), JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, jSON, cURL, XML etc.
    • Exposure to SVN, MVC, class/object oriented programming, Smarty Templates an added advantage
    • Sound knowledge of Open Source Applications such as WordPress, Joomla, Magento, OSCommerce will be given preference
    • Experience working with responsive web designs would be a welcome point
    • Strong debugging, unit/regression testing skills

    Educational Qualifications :

    The candidate should be an MCA, BE/BTech (IT/Computers only), MSc (IT) or PGDCA (with BCA) or any equivalent graduation/post-graduation.

    Experience :

    • At least 1 year of experience required in PHP/MySQL (LAMP/XAMP and/or WAMP).
    • Hands on experience in writing high level JavaScript, DHTML, CSS/DIV must.
    • Exposure to open source frameworks such as CakePHP, Joomla, WordPress, Magento will be given an advantage.
    • Experience of working on ROR (Ruby On Rails) especially with Shopify a definite plus!
