Job Description

    Functional Reporting / Administrative Reporting: Category Head Role Purpose The role serves the purpose of managing & improving the performance of the assigned brand by a. Planning & driving execution of annual & interim projects for the brandb. Aiding on conceptualization & set up of a product pipeline for future (NPD) Areas Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities For the assigned brand,- Net Revenue- Value Market Share- Gross Contribution Target- NPD Pipeline / Stage Gate Milestones- Brand Health Indicators Key Activities - Ideate & contribute in drawing the roadmap for the Brand in the short term (1-2 Years)- Discover new / changing insights by working with the CMI Team & Agency to understand evolving consumer needs- Ideate & contribute to planning of on going projects, initiatives (NPD, Launch, Re-positioning etc.)- Co-ordinate with Market research agencies, Ad agencies and internal functions on execution of project plan- Drive on ground execution with Sales function & track success parameters- Track Brand Health regularly & highlight information of relevance to upcoming / future work on the brand- Aid Category Head in the preparation of the Annual budget- Lead & contribute to streamlining & improving internal processes, routines basis industry Best Practices, developments in the field of Consumer Marketing Key Interactions Internal Nature Sales, Planning: On alignment of monthly / quarterly / annual plans for the brand Manufacturing : Time to time driving of back end actions basis business planLogistics : Coordination for planned production / changes / additional business ask & its timely deliveryFinance: Approvals & payments to direct vendors External Nature Creative / Ad agencies, Media Agency : Relationship Management , Coordination / Influence / Negotiation Role Requirements Educational Qualifications: PG Degree in General / Marketing Management Experience: 4-5 years Skills & Technical Competencies Knowledge & understanding of relevant business indicators, category & industry, Understanding of Marketing Communication basics , Essential Skills/CompetenciesThis job opening was posted long time back.
