Job Description

    We have an urgent opening for an HR Assistant in the Oil and Gas industry in Bahrain. The contract is for two years, with a start date of joining to be determined.     • Gathering and examining timesheets to ensure their accuracy.
    • Monthly Payroll management.
    • Ensuring that compensation for overtime work is calculated at the appropriate rate.
    • Confirming that legally-mandated and optional deductions have been processed correctly.
    • Preparing and distributing electronic payslips.
    • Performing all tasks well before the pay run to ensure that staff members are compensated and notified on time.
    • Addressing queries about payroll-related issues.
    • Work to resolve discrepancies in payroll payments as a matter of urgency.
    • Indemnity calculation.
    • Preparing letter to employee for their Promotions / Demotion.
    • Maintain employee master data base.
    • Updating employee bank account.
    • Employee attendance management.
    • Preparing employees Timesheet.
    • Employee schedule and rotation management.
    • Assisting employee for their vacation plans.
    • Assist with the recruitment process by identifying the candidates, performing reference check and issuing employment contracts.
    • Assist with Performance management procedures.
    • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR Events and maintain agendas.
    • Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
    • Prepare general reports for HR Activities.
    • Maintain and update employee files manually and electronically.
    • Serve as a point of contact in HR Department.
    Qualification
    • Bachelors degree in human resources or finance/Commerce.
    • 3 years experience in Oil and Gas industry as an HR Assistant.
    • Knowledge in Labor Law and regulations.
    • Exposure in payroll practices.
    Skill Required
    • Effective HR Administration and people management Skill.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
    • Works well under pressure.
    • Advanced Excel Skills, Accuracy and attention to detail.
