*1. This role is part of US BTS FS sub-service line leadership team leading a set of Managers accountable for identified clients and engagements 2. Role would have engagement manager responsibility for delivery for specific engagement including tax technical review on those engagements 3. The role would be accountable for developing /building tax technical capability to support increased value addition from the KGS delivery centre 4. Overseeing Federal and State tax compliance projects requiring tax analysis entities and their affiliatesAssesses tax technical capabilities of all staff members and help them improve capabilities, implement Quality efforts per set KPMG standards 5. Facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines, create cohesive teams, and respond quickly to management requests 6. Responsible for planning/directing the work of a group of individuals, monitor their work and takes corrective actions as necessary. Providing guidance to direct reports, typically comprising first-line managers and supervisors. 7. Create cohesive teams and respond to business needs while managing multiple deadlines 8. Working with peers within its functions across teams in other groups to ensure collaboration for shared goals 9. Working with senior management for tactical execution and interacting with SL leaders for reporting 10. Responsible for delivering on business and operational metrics in line with agreed targets, managing engagement budgets and ensure over runs are managed proactively 11. Build and leverage relationship with US Engagement Senior Managers and Engagement TMDs to support business needs 12. Be the lean champion for his/her cluster and responsible for executing the continuous improvement projects 13. Works with the sub-service lead in identifying and implementing simplification and agile automation opportunities 14. Must be either a US Enrolled Agent (EA) or US Certified Public Accountant in US Tax 15. The incumbent should have 11+ years of US tax experience. Of this last 2 years should have been as leading at least 30K hrs client delivery and leading 25+ FTE team #LI-KGS, *1.
