Job Description

    Job Title SDN Controller Test EngineerNokias IP Division is recruiting highly motivated Software Developers & Test Engineers. We are growing our team that s responsible for building Intent based Automation (FSS Fabric Services System ) for Datacentre Networks.FSS is a new product developed from scratch using microservice fundamentals. It provides the openness, flexibility, robustness and automation to make data centre and cloud environments easier to scale, adapt and operate.We are looking for specialists in Design, Test and UI, to help us build a world class product for Tier 1 Carriers and Large-Scale Enterprise Customers.FSS is built using latest technical stack with next generation tools and technologies, including:Golang, Python Web application frameworks (REACT) Microservices (Kubernetes, Helm) , Docker, Kafka, Traefik, ELK, Prometheus etc. Web technologies (HTML5, Javascript, REST) LinuxFSP Test Team is a fast-paced team working in dynamic environment testing application that is best in class SDN based Datacentre network automation solution. You will be exposed to the latest technologies in telecom specifically around Virtualization and SDN. Successful candidate s responsibilities will include -Testing of features and enhancements made in product to achieve customer high availability network requirements, while reaching defined scale and performance targets.Automating complete end-to-end feature testing and integrating the same in Regression Environment. We believe there is no testing that s not 100% automated.Working in a team-based agile environment; collaborate with Developers, and Product Management to refine requirements, and test our Carrier grade solutions.Keenly following and participating in standardization activities in this space.ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
    • Programming experience in Python for Test Automation and Libraries Development
    • Experience in testing & debugging distributed scale-out backend systems (aspects likerestartability, ACID transactionality, redundancy etc.)
    • Knowledge on IP Networking (preferably Datacentre Networks & Protocols like VXLAN, EVPN/L3-VPN, BGP , Routing etc.)
    • Experience on technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, ELK and databases like Mongo, neo4j etc
    • Knowledge on Network management & SDN fundamentals. Device communication protocols and modelling language like GNMI, Netconf, Yang is a plus
    • Web Automation experience in Selenium or any other similar technologies.
