We are looking for individuals with the passion to drive significant business outcomes through technical skills, business acumen and leadership.Global Functions IT, part of HPE Global IT is responsible for providing best in class IT solutions to HPEs internal Global functions like Finance, Tax, Procurement, Treasury, Legal and others. The candidate will be involved in the planning, successful delivery, and ongoing support of Finance solutions, collaborating with various IT and business partners.Responsibilities include -

• Perform code development, Unit testing, System testing, and debugging HPEs finance applications
• Design, develop and support integrations with ERP applications
• Collaborate with business users, understand requirements, develop design specifications and develop IT solutions for support and strategic projects
• Help drive the decision making related to optimal systems landscape in constantly changing environment
• Work with the Business teams to ensure proper and effective integration of business processes into existing system solutions
• Perform operations support and drive the resolution of production support issues, own orchestration of month end close activities related to finance applications
• Drive the reduction of support incidents through implementation of long term and sustainable fixes
• Create all the artifacts needed as part of the systems development life cycle including design specifications, test cases etc.
• Create comprehensive documentation about the solutions being developed and provide necessary user training

Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience as a IT Developer in .Net, ASP, Web API, Oracle, SQL, CXML, CSS, json, JavaScript, MS Dynamics CRM D365, Informatica and Power BI.
• Solid experience specifically in Brazil local legal business and regulatory practices & ERP systems
• Experience in Finance functions such as such as Tax, GL, AP, AR, Controlling and Banking
• Good experience of financial close processes
• Background with Tidal, Control M, SysAdmiral or any other scheduler tool is desirable
• Able to help other teams to write functional and technical specifications on development items
• Experience developing reporting and performance optimization is desirable
• Experience of modern Agile development, database, and automation techniques.
• Understanding and experience with DevOps/DevSecOps.
• Significant hands on, combined with relevant hands on experience and data management tools (e.g., Oracle, SQL).
• Governance experience (working closely with the solution delivery teams to ensure adherence to the design).
• Background in traditional hosted, infrastructure transition projects for multi-tier enterprise applications/architectures would be a plus.
• Migration to Cloud experience would be a plus.
• Excellent communication, documentation skills, and proficient in English language
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
