Job Description

We are looking for a housekeeper who can help us maintain the cleanliness of our establishment. You will be required to maintain the cleanliness of the rooms and help the guests with any requests or emergencies. You will also have to ensure fragile objects are handled with care and inform superiors of any damage. Your contribution adds value to the service we provide by maintaining a clean and tidy environment.What to expect from the roleHands-on experience in cleaning and maintaining spaces.Learning how to organize and multitask on the job.Learn on the job regarding the best practices in cleaning for the hospitality industry.Exposure to the culinary, service and hospitality industry.ResponsibilitiesHelp maintain the cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and polishing the surroundings.Help with any emergency cleaning requirements and requests from guests.Ensure different objects are handled with appropriate care such as fine china, paintings and glass objects.Ensure rooms are attended to and are up to the standards of the establishment.Collaborate with other housekeepers and cover all rooms of the hotel.Inform superiors of any damages or issues that are observed.Keeping an inventory of all the cleaning supplies and equipment and ensuring that it is always stocked up.Ensure the safety regulations and standards of the establishment are maintained up to the highest quality.RequirementsGraduated from high school.Prior experience with housekeeping.Ability to maintain a standard of performance and quality with work.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Friendly and helpful approach with customer oriented attitude.Good command over language, multilingual is a bonus.Excellent sense of cleanliness.
