We are looking for long-haul truck drivers with Class A CDL license. Your job will be to safely operate trucks and drive goods, over intercity routes, promptly.What to expect from the roleHands-on experience delivering items to various addresses.Learning how to organize and multitask on the job.Learn on the job regarding the best practices in the industry.Exposure to the logistics industry.ResponsibilitiesTransport stock between distribution centers in a time effective manner.Plan routes in a cost, time and fuel efficient manner.Account for, and adapt to, unexpected situations like weather conditions and traffic.Keep proper logs of hours on the road, miles driven and fuel spent, following all company, state, and federal regulations.Maintain the truck and associated equipment in good, working order; report all mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.Follow all applicable traffic laws and safety procedures.Observe and report all defects, accidents, and violations.Adhere to company guidelines while interacting with customers and serve as a brand advocate.RequirementsPossesses a CDL class A license.[X] years experience in driving commercially - preferred but not mandatoryHigh school diplomaKnowledge of DoT policies and proceduresAbility to travel with regularity and drive long distancesNo DUI
