Our software is embedded in the firm s trading engines to implement real-time controls, trading risk management and regulatory logic. The application environment is comprised of a variety of systems covering all forms of electronic trading, from GUI-based interactive systems, through class-leading ultra-low-latency trading systems.The role combines solving complex business and technical problems. Technologists in the group focus on the development, coding, testing and deployment of critical, extremely low-latency trading control software in the above technologies. These systems are integrated and embedded across numerous trading flows. This person partners closely with the Risk Management, Trading Desk and multiple Technology teams providing best-in-class solutions. This is an integral hire to the team due to revenue generating opportunities and Regulatory Mandates.Role Profile: You will execute and oversee IT daily change management processes within the team. You will Configuring server processes and test the changes to server processes. You will be managing Deployment of changes into production. You will be providing Level3 production support. You will work as a hands-on senior technologist in our Trading Risk Controls team. You will be working closely with electronic trading desks and risk management. You will participate and have the opportunity to influence the design of our next generation of control systems. You will be learning about trading systems and electronic trading while working with best in class technologists. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with other internal technology teams to build, test, and implement exciting new functionalities and to improve existing infrastructure. You will liaise directly with Risk Management, Compliance, and Business trading desks We work in a team-oriented global environment, so strong communication skills are required., *Desired Skills: Solid verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. We need someone who interacts well. Excellent organizational skills. Strong Linux/Unix skills. Strong Scripting skills (e.g., Python, bash/ksh or similar). Experience with SQL and/or KDB. Good understanding of Financial Markets. Experience working with front office / trading systems.
