DESCRIPTIONThe candidate will work on early-stage investing in start-ups and transactions for SMEs and will work closely with and as an integral part of our team.Our investment banking team is a mix of experienced and young professionals, passionate and driven to deliver impact for investors and founders. The experience within the investment banking team is a mix of operating roles, deep sector/domain expertise, and investing.Duration: 6 Months Training Period, based upon the performance in training period a full-time role shall be offered.Commencement: ImmediateRESPONSIBILITIESAssess investment opportunities Sourcing & assisting in evaluating investment opportunities, read/reviewing business plans, and pitch decks. Undertaking research and building sector analysis reports for the firm. Assessing market/company attractiveness to help identify compelling investment cases.Due Diligence Involvement in all aspects of due diligence on new investments (business analysis, industry thesis, competitive landscape, business/pricing model, and financial modeling/deal structuring). Manage deal documentation, legal review (with support from Legal Counsel), and financial administration.Deal support & Relationships Support clients on fundraising or strategic partnership by producing investor presentations, drafting business plans and strategic plans. Help the firm build network of associates and drive corporate relationships. Collateral preparation including financial model, IM, Teasers, competition benchmarking, valuation comps, etcJOB QUALIFICATIONS Candidates should demonstrate the skills and character required to be successful in a demanding, entrepreneurial and dynamic work environment. Fresher or in their final year of an undergraduate degree from a reputed institution and a good academic record. Intrinsic understanding of the Indian start-up and business ecosystem. Ability to create and build a pipeline for investments. Detailed understanding of start-ups, investments, deal terms, valuations, and equity investments. Self-starter with superior work ethic and uncompromising personal integrity. Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with limited supervision (including proactively seeking guidance when needed). Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with an ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships. Candidates must have good business and financial modeling skills and a solid acumen of finance and accounting.
