Job Description

These values combine to help us create important work all over the world to advance how people live and work.The QA Expert responsible for the Software Quality Assurance, leading new and existing Quality Assurance initiatives, and will be instrumental in managing QA processes, driving test methods, risk analysis, resource planning and estimating for projects.Responsibilities

  • Reviewing technical design/requirement documents to understand the overall test scope requirement
  • Responsible for creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases (Feature, System and Solution test) for enterprise switching platform products.
  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities
  • Effective at quickly understanding technology, demonstrated presentation and proposal writing/preparation
  • Design, plan, execute, monitor, improve testing process for a testing engagement
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
  • Contribute to managing of test environments.
  • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities.
  • Strong ability to negotiate and build consensus in engineering community on technical decisions
  • Should be contributing significantly and experienced in hiring and recruitment drives. Provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, ECE or equivalent.
  • Minimum 12 years of related work experience, including 6 or more years of technical leading the project and the test team.
  • Product Validation and Technical Management Experience in networking products
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Have Good Networking domain knowledge on Ethernet switching, Layer2 Protocols, Layer3 Protocols, Data Centre Technologies, and Network Operating Systems
  • Should have high skill, experience and expertise on L2 Protocols (e.g. Link Aggregation, MCLAG, MSTP, PVST, VxLAN, VLAN, LLDP etc.) and L3 protocols (OSPF, BGP, Multicast, ARP, VRRP etc.)
  • Good hands on software development experience, deep understanding of formal QA tools, methodology/processes and deep experience with network protocol testing
  • Should have excellent English communication skills, proven leadership skills
  • Experience designing and developing large scale qualification efforts for switches and/or network controllers.
  • Advanced leadership skills, including coaching, team building, conflict resolution, and management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in working across geographies with good relationship management skills to achieve desired results
  • Using testing tools and software packages to automate test processes.
