Job Description

DescriptionWorking to protect the privacy of more than 500 million Vodafone customers and employees, Vodafone Business Privacy team, oversees Vodafone s Privacy Compliance and ensures its implementation across Vodafone Business globally. Joining us as a Manager, you can be part of our award winning, empowering privacy function, working on cutting edge privacy mattersJob ResponsibilitySupporting our Privacy by Design and Assurance activities across a range of data processing activities, including conducting privacy impact assessments of wide-ranging scope and purpose Privacy demand management, triage and categorisation of requests in a timely manner and action the correct process to the highest of standards Responding to Subject Access Requests Incident Management, in particular support with the initial investigation of privacy incidents and related activities Supporting Supplier Compliance processes, in particular ensuring privacy considerations are incorporated to supplier management processes and related compliance monitoring Conducting re-assessments of high and medium risk personal data processing activities according to annual assurance plan to ensure continuous compliance with Vodafone privacy baseline requirements Records management and Quality Assurance, including maintain a centralised record of processes, platforms and inventories and drive quality assurance to ensure high data quality Supporting regular Policy Compliance Reviews and Reporting that verify compliance with Vodafone Privacy Risk Control framework and other similar second line assurance activities Supporting with external and internal data protection terms including shareholder agreements, collaboration agreements, partner agreements, standard supplier agreements, complex technology agreements and internal framework agreements. Support developing and embedding privacy notices, cookie notices, templates, advice, guidance and processes with the objective of improving internal privacy processes and making the negotiation of data protection terms more efficient and effective. Support the Group Privacy team with any other privacy activities as may be required from time to time.Core CompetencyMust Have -1-2+ years experience in privacy and or legal.Experience in contracts and data protection clauses. Good understanding of global privacy landscape in technology and online businesses. Knowledge of compliance management standards, tools, methodologies and best practices. Excellent organisation skills, able to handle multiple requests with differing priorities and stakeholders. Excellent command of English, and excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication. Comfortable working in a matrix organisation. Results oriented, proactive, responsible, pragmatic and ethical person with a passion for privacy and interest in technologies and their societal impact. Ability to analyse complex information and identify key and relevant points, including communicating in a relevant and easy to understand manner.
