Marketing Application DeveloperPosting Location : Location US-NC-RemotePosting date 1 day ago(10/6/2021 4:02 AM)Job ID 90178 Workday ID R-016569 Job summary The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Applications Developer to join us. In this role, you will work with Solutions Architects to create scalable combinations of people, processes, and technology that ensure best practices in campaign planning and delivery, lead generation, segmentation, and data management. You will be expected to stay current in industry and technology trends, write detailed technical documentation, troubleshoot issues, and continuously enhance our marketing infrastructure. You will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once, which involve stakeholders from across the company. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business. Primary job responsibilities

  • Develop web-based applications using JavaScript (e.g., React, Node, Meteor), HTML, and CSS
  • Create and maintain NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) and SQL (eg., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB) databases
  • Interact with 3rd party API s (eg., Salesforce, Eloqua, ServiceNow) to enhance and automate tasks
  • Develop integration using a service-oriented-architecture (e.g., REST API) and various business rules engines including custom rules
  • Enhance technical components of key marketing systems (e.g., marketing automation, customer relationship management (CRM)) used to plan and fulfill campaigns and generate, distribute, and report on leads.
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing performance
  • Create and run manual test cases and implement automated testing wherever possible Contribute to detailed technical documentation, including, but not limited to, user stories, data-flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, statements of work, and blog posts
Required skills
  • Experience with JavaScript web application technologies (e.g., React, Node, Meteor)
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
  • Experience with build tools (e.g., Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, etc.)
  • Experience with continuous integration (e.g., Jenkins)
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Chai, Enzyme, JUnit)
  • Experience designing with HTML and CSS or SASS
  • 4+ years of work experience or BA or BS in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field
  • Record of using agile and Scrum development processes to develop software
  • Great problem solving skills, ability to learn on your own, and work in an ambiguous environment
  • Experience with marketing automation systems (e.g., Eloqua, ExactTarget) or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
  • Experience developing in container-base Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) e.g., Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes is a plus
