Job Description

    Job description and context :The position is for a Technical Staff, who would be involved in product system testing of Service Assurance components/products pre-packaged using Nokia and 3 rd party OSS applications. These products can be delivered as is or can be customized based on customer needs. The vacancy is a position in NAC R&D Organization in CNS and targeted to deliver to carriers across the Globe.Required experience :5 to 9 years of total experience of which at least 1-2 years of performance testing experience in OSS domain (alarm management)Main tasks to achieve :Responsible for performance engineering/testing of Nokia Application(s) using Web/Java, Linux, Jboss and Oracle/MariaDB database technologies Responsible for end to end system testing of Application functionality of Nokia Fault Management product. Automate end to end test cases using automated test tools or python scripts Analyze requirement specifications, design documentation, and the create the performance plan and schedule Deliver outcomes for the organization through quality contributions to Testing & Test Automation of OSS Components/products as per Software Development Process. Produce System Test Specifications, Performance & Capacity Test Specifications, Test Plans, and other documentation as per Nokia s Software Development Process. Execute System Integration Tests, Performance Test, and Capacity Tests according to pre-written specifications Reporting results to the technical development leader/test team leader Following up unexpected behaviors including characterizing issues and raising incident reports. Working flexibly within this environment to ensure team objectives are met. Assist the Solutions development team to customize developed solution as per specific needs of the project.Mandatory technical skills (All) Experience in system testing of cloud native applications and distributed applications using Docker, Kubernetes Experience with Enterprise Resource Monitoring tools (Zabbix, Kibana, Grafana etc) Strong test automation experience using Python. Familiarity with RDBMS databases (preferably Oracle, MariaDB), Reporting and data analysis Good understanding of customer network (specifically 5G) & customer operations. Experience with server clustering and load balancing technologies for high availability, Geo-Redundancy Good understanding of multi-tier and high-transaction web/internet applications Must have excellent attention to detail and good problem-solving skills Should be individual contributor.
