Job Description

    *Assist the Quality Assurance (QA) Lead with evaluating software requirements and developing QA plans, QA test scripts, and acceptance criteria for various testing phases - Develop test case generation techniques including test plans and test cases using requirements and design documents while specifying testing overview, approach, strategy, scope, roles, and responsibilities - Strong manual testing experience to understand requirements and then articulate it into positive and negative test scenarios - Assist in the identification of QA tasks and the associated level of effort for project plans and proactively work with application QA, and development team right from inception through functional validation and final release - Prepare and execute acceptance testing of new or revised modules, and automated test scripts - Write clear and concise defect reports and validate fixes - Hands-on Coding of automation test scripts using C # or Java programming with Selenium - Expertese in Selenium for functional automation and good to have VSTS for Performance Testing - API testing experience is an advantage - Assist with issue triaging and root cause analysis - Good knowledge in SQL to write queries joining multiple tables and get the data as needed to verify reports - Help to ensure that high severity bugs are caught during the QA phase and provide the appropriate feedback to the development group on usability, functionality, and quality of user experience - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Qualifications: - Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college/university - 5 plus year experience with hands-on technical C # or Java coding for automated testing using Selenium. - Basic knowledge/understanding of Web performance testing - Perform testing and troubleshoot applications built on ASP.NET, MVC, .NET, C#, Angular JS, JavaScript, JQuery technologies and SQL Server - Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of client/server architecture and computer networks. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet set deadlines. - Performing risk management, and gap and requirement analysis in Agile/Scrum environment - Preparing and executing acceptance testing of new or revised modules and automated test scripts, and implement new or modified QA procedures and standards - Familiar with application lifecycle management processes for QA projects utilizing TFS or Azure DevOps - Evaluating and implementing optimum QA methodologies, including Agile, WaterFall, V-Model and Iterative approach for projects Good to have: - Experience with testing apps in Sharepoint & .NET framework - Power Shell scripting knowledge is a plus - Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services is a plus,
