We are looking for highly qualified, motivated, passionate and talented senior software engineers to join our Ethernet driver validation team We are a best in class validation team that relentlessly drives the highest quality of EPG products with the most optimal cost, via continuous improvement, learning and product mindset. We are a vibrant, cross-site team which helps drive Intels Ethernet technology and products to position Intels x86 as the server platform of choice and Intels Ethernet products as the ethernet solution of choice for the Cloud Communications and Data Center deployments. At a high level, youll influence our Validation Strategy and our Validation Standards Direction, Technology, and Methodology. Your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary. On a regular basis, you will be responsible for performance validation of network drivers on various operating systems across Linux, Windows, FreeBSD Operating systems and ESXi, on a variety of foundational and Smart NIC products. Review and analyze the requirement documents and architecture specifications to understand the product. Interact with Marketing and Architecture teams to understand the Scalability and Performance requirements and Customers Use Cases, Develop test strategies for the new features and products. Develop and maintain Software Test Plans. Perform thorough debug of the systems to assist in problem identification and resolution. Work alongside software development and hardware teams to analyze and debug software or hardware issues. In addition, you will be responsible for developing automation and automated test cases, and execute them using automation frameworks. Use agile software development methodologies in the software development life cycle Lead the validation within the technical domain of expertise.Qualifications Education:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent disciplines is required.A Masters Degree is preferable.Experience8 years of overall experience in validation of software including software testing and debug, developing test methodologies for functional, Integration Regression and Performance Testing. A minimum of 4 years of experience in the following technologies OVS, programmable devices, P4, DPDK or networking and security protocols. A minimum of 4 Years of experience in OOP design and programming and scripting languages like C or Python. A minimum of 4 years of experience with using various testing tools like iperf, netperf, Ixia packet analyzers etc.Experience in SONiC, SAI and OpenConfig is preferableInside this Business Group The Network & Edge Group brings together our network connectivity and edge into a business unit chartered to drive technology end to end product leadership.
