Creates, defines and develops system validation environment and test suites for validating IO IPs at system level. Uses and applies emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec. Interfaces with SoC Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation teams in improving post-silicon test content and design for validation capabilities. Understands System with HW/FW/SW components as a whole, drives test execution and debug with cross functional teams. The position will support various levels of experience with following qualifications.QualificationsBachelors/Masters in Hardware Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 7- 15 years of experience In Depth understanding of the SoC Memory subsystem with hands-on work experience of 5+ years in this domain Expert knowledge on the DDR3/4/5 protocols - should have worked on at least 2 products in this domain Hands-on work in the pre/post silicon validation of memory/DDR subsystem and associated cross-products of Power-management and RAS capabilities Should have developed Random/focused test content to cover all corner cases in simulation/emulation/platform Established debug expertise to solve complex failures through usage of silicon debug hooks, Logic analyzers, Oscilloscope etc Should be able to handle issues which have strong co-relation between digital and analog boundaries working closely with EV/circuits team Working to enable quick silicon power-on checkout, run Task Forces where ever needed Work very closely with design/pre-silicon/PAE/perf teams will be part of the job Exposure on different DIMM technologies is must Ability to propose work-arounds for silicon bugs working closely with silicon design team Chairing the sighting debug forum in past will be a value add Work experience with Intel latest memory technologies will be value add Good programming skills in C/C++/Python is required Pre-silicon Design / Validation knowledge is a value add.
