Job Description

    With this position we offerJoin the Customer Delivery QA Team within Nasdaq Global Technology. It is a new team so you will be part of building up the team from scratch, but you will also be part of an extensive network of QA people working with our Trading systems in various locations.Your role and responsibilitiesAs a QA Test Specialist, you will work in a cross functional product engineering team with highly skilled and experienced Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Test Engineers.Your responsibilities will be related to test automation in a DevOps oriented environment for a trading system. Including such as:Review functional business requirements.Plan, coordinate, and test system conformance to agreed requirements.Create test effort estimates, test plans, test specifications and test reports.Build Automated Functional test suites on API level.Implement automated follow up of key metrics to make sure we deliver exceptional quality and focus our testing in the right areas.Work together with QA personnel for other product teams to plan and build the needed tests to make sure all products work together.Stay up to date on the latest trend in the QA.We expect you to have You are a multi-skilled, solution-oriented team player with a positive can-do attitude. You can work cross-functionally and internationally in a fast-changing environment. In our work things can change fast, so you are also flexible to changes in priorities.Bachelors in computer science, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.Substantial experience from QA and test automation.Knowledge of scripting and programming in Java.Experience integrating automated tests with a CI/CD pipeline.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Experience working in agile teams either using Scrum or Kanban.It would be great if you haveExperience in the trading domain or the financial market.Experience in non-functional tests such as failover tests and performance tests.Experience in security related testing.Experience in FIX or REST APIs.Education Required: Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.Experience Required: At least 6 yearsSpecial Qualifications: Specialist certifications in QA/Testing methodology.Come as You AreNasdaq is an equal opportunity employer.
