Job Description

    As a Data Analyst, youll encompass end-to-end reporting solutions where focus is on developing approaches and/or processes to accomplish goals with particular emphasis on advanced data modeling, research and analytics. Typically an individual contributor, operating in a senior analyst capacity in direct collaboration with key stakeholders that reside within the functions/lines-of-business, and lead/participate in meetings at the operational and project level. Youll provide continuous feedback on project status and issues and serve as the overall escalation point to ensure the project tracks to original expectations.Responsibilities:
    • Converts data to actionable insights, and leverages data visualization tools to effectively tell a story
    • Data analysis, including data collection, synthesis, and translation of results into concrete actionable solutions
    • Maintain a clear understanding of the relationship between reporting information and business needs through participation in business projects
    • Uses data analysis techniques to develop insights that lead to new recommendations presented to management and business partners
    • Researches, develops and implements new methods of measuring and analyzing data sets and processes
    • Define user acceptance test plans and test cases, coordinate and execute user acceptance testing and interpret, assess, and communicate results to enable signoff on deliverables
    • Provide implementation support, inclusive of testing and process change management, and ensure those implementations meet requirements established by Oversight and Control partners. Works with a wide range of proprietary, industry-standard and open-source data stores and tools to assemble, organize and analyze data
    Qualifications:
    • 1-5 years of PowerBI development experience or any other reporting tool experience
    • Bachelor s degree required
    • Excellent communication and presentations skills across various stakeholders and senior management
    • Intermediate/Advanced experience using SQL, creating complex queries and stored procedures
    • Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business requirements
    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented and strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives
    Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
    • Ability to deal with different stakeholder groups to develop advanced data visualization and presentations
    • Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
    • Be a team player who shows commitment and dedication, and can maintain a positive attitude and high-level of performance on high-profile/time-sensitive initiatives
