  • Definition and implementation of firmware test cases
  • Pre- and post-silicon verification incl. unit tests, integration tests with other SW components, system level use-case tests
  • Tracking of SW quality parameters (code coverage, test versus requirement coverage)
  • First level analysis of failing test cases and close cooperation with FW developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes
  • Test documentation (test specification, test result) for internal and certification purpose
  • Strong cooperation with hardware and OS teams
  • Documentation for external functional & security certification schemes
Required skills:
  • ME/M.Tech or BE/B.Tech in electrical engineering, electronics or computer science or related discipline with 5 years of experience
  • Several years practical experience in embedded software verification
  • Programming skills in C, C, JAVA, NUnit, PYTHON
  • Practical experience with agile development and SW quality metrics
  • Working knowledge in requirements management and configuration management
  • Handling of Embedded development platforms like Simulator, Emulator or FPGA
  • Good understanding of microcontroller architectures
  • Good experience in software test techniques and documentation
  • Good hands-on experience in Data Structures and Pointers
  • Excellent debugging skills
