Job Description

Sr. Associate DB Developer Looking for an experienced database developer with extensive knowledge in capital market products (equities, swap, Fx) who can develop functional, regression and backend testing pack using DB queries for MiFID and FRTB. Aware of QA methodologies and demonstrate strong analytical knowledge to design and develop test scenarios for through testing and reporting defects. Responsibilities!

  • Analyze business requirements and develop detailed test cases for different products.
  • Responsible for developing or enhancing of existing sql automation pack.
  • Responsible for monitoring automaton test pack execution and reporting defects.
  • Managing and tracking work using management tools like JIRA.
  • Participates in discussion with BA and business to get requirements.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priority tasks effectively
  • Ability to work independently on assigned QA activities doesn t need to be directed at all times
  • Team player with good interpersonal relationship skills.
Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum qualifications
  • BE/B Tech/ BCA/MCA
Preferred qualifications
  • Database testing experience
  • Knowledge of MiFID, FRTB, credit & Market risk.
  • Good Knowledge of equities, future options, Swap, interest rate, foreign exchange.
  • Experience in development of Automation framework.
  • strong SQL skills
  • experience in UNIX, VBScript, Perl, Shell.
  • Experience in Data validation and Data Quality testing using ETL tools is preferred.
  • Should have knowledge of handling several feed files / setup data comparison processes / Excel macros / schedulers while doing data intensive comparing.
  • Experience with Agile software development process.
