The Voice-Speech Platform Team works on one of the most challenging and stabilized products which offers the IVR service with full redundancy and capability to handle various clients.This position requires background in software engineering, technical and people management. The successful candidate will be technically managingmultiple scrum teams which works on cutting edge technologies on Google cloud platform.Requirement:

  • Education:Bachelors or Master s Degree, preferably in ECE or CSE, from a reputed institution,
  • Typically 12 TO 16 years of experience in Software Product development including relevant experience in Core Telecom Products like SBC (Session Border Controller), Media/Signalling Gateways, SIP Proxies development experience.
  • 3 6 years of experience in managing team of Software Engineers is must.
  • Must have good Experience in Voice domain like Voice over IP technologies. Ex: SIP, RTP, SS7 etc
  • Must have worked with products like SBC ( Session Border Controller ) / Media/Signalling Gateways, SIP Proxies
  • Good Computer Science fundamentals knowledge. (Data structures, Algorithms, OS, Databases)
  • Good exposure on C++ / Core Java programming Language
  • Good to have experience in System design, system calls, System re-architecture
  • Good to have multi-threading based concepts, STL & multiple Design pattern
  • Good exposure in Debugging,
  • Good attitude, Analytical skill
  • Technologically savvy with excellent communication abilities is a must.
  • Good to have experience in developing high-performance distributed systems.
  • Exposure to open source technologies is required.
  • Ability to weigh the pros and cons of different designs and select the most optimal one is a must.
  • Experience and knowledge of cloud enabled services and applications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Good experience in creating VXML or SCXML applications is a plus
Responsibilities:
  • In this role, the successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering and will work closely with the Product Management, Engineering and Customer support teams in Agile environment for the success of Voice products of [24]7.ai
  • Should be willing to review the architecture, design, code, test strategy and test cases to provide right direction to the team.
  • Shall be responsible for coming up with efficient plan to deliver features and provide efficient product support by setting the right priorities.
  • Closely work with customer support teams to enable customer success.
  • Build and sustain a strongly committed and motivated team.
  • Responsible for hiring, engaging people within the team.
  • Set and achieve challenging goals and build trust and influence across teams.
  • Drive execution for product roadmap. Manage engineering and operational project/program teams in the design, test and deployment of new infrastructure projects, products, and/or features.
  • Ensure new technologies are employed productively in operations by planning their release, working with internal customers on adoption, as well as identifying and resolving problems throughout the projects life cycle.
  • Responsible for production support activities for all products and components owned by the squad.
