Job Description

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience., *Preferred Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of related professional experience in software development & testing across the full software life-cycle including design, implementation, testing, operations and maintenance.
  • Strong hands on experience in designing, developing Automation scripts, Frameworks, and tools
  • Experience and Strong knowledge on end to end testing includes Functional, Cross-browser, Service Data and Performance testing
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, and participating as a Scrum team member.
  • Proven track record of testing large scale flexible systems, with deep expertise in industry-standard automation testing tools and testing frameworks, such as Selenium, OATS, UFT, TestComplete, Cucumber etc
  • Solid experience with testing methodologies and technique
  • Should be strong with Java
  • Should have hands on experience with API(REST, SOAP) developing and testing (Postman, ResutAssured, Lisa)
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Good familiarity with code coverage, Code quality, Code security
  • Experience in CI / CD development and operation activities , testing and deployment of application would be a plus.
Preferable
  • Familiar with service-oriented architecture and product development lifecycles (XML, JSON, Docker, messaging protocols, Web Services, and Microservices).
  • CX/CRM applications domain knowledge or automation experience with Oracle Fusion apps.
  • Familiar with Behavior-driven and/or Test-driven development. Experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Integrating automation scripts with tools like Slack, Jira, or ALM.
Personal Acumen
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Self motivated and self-driven, continuously learning, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of professional software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build and release processes, continuous deployment, and test suite development and maintenance.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with proven success in contributing in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, working with technical and non-technical peers, as well as management.
BS/MS/ MCA or a related engineering field and 5+ years of experience as a software tester.
