Job Description

    You ll be involved in designing modern interfaces using JavaScript based frameworks, testing them through Python automation and deploying the product to iManage cloud infrastructure. You will be working with the Product Managers to understand customer requirements, devise test cases for the product, automate their testing and drive UI/UX Designers and Developers to implement features. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will spend time mentoring young engineers and guide them to solve the technical problems.We have multiple products built using a range of frameworks and technologies like Angular, React, Redux, Python, Scala/Java 11 (Play Framework, Akka, Lucene), REST services and tools such as SBT, npm, Git, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes. Although you will be owning the user interface in the product pipeline, your contribution and support can extend to other areas as well. iM Responsible For
    • Working with Product Managers to define product requirements
    • Collaborating with UX/UI Designers to build modern interfaces
    • Designing scalable client-side architecture that works with a multi-tenant cloud API
    • Ensuring secure coding standards to protect the clients against various vulnerabilities
    • Create and maintain automated test pipeline
    • Optimizing application for maximum speed and scalability
    • Collaborating with team members and reviewing their code

    • Expert proficiency in JavaScript, Angular 2+, Python
    • Solid experience in using REST API from client-side
    • In-depth understanding of web standards, asynchronous request handling, cross-browser compatibility, modern security standards, automated testing etc.
    • Good knowledge and practical experience in Continuous Integration/Delivery pipeline for cloud including Jenkins, Sonar, Docker
    • Exposure to full-stack development is a plus
    • Working within cross-functional engineering teams as well as peer teams in building an integrated solution
    • Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documentation) and related tools like GitHub, JIRA
    • Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills for technical and business audiences
    • Team leadership and mentoring skills; recent work in driving small teams using Agile Scrum development process; past experience in owning products or components
