Because it s the best-run businesses that make the world run better and improve people s lives.Data Privacy Engineering Services team works on one of the most strategic topics in SAP which is the Data Privacy and Protection (DPP) reuse services in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). These services help manage different data privacy regulations like the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR)Data Privacy Services acts as the central framework for managing privacy of personal data on BTP. Objective of the team is to build cross platform reuse services in accordance with the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).THE ROLE

• Understand the concept of DPP reuse services
• Creates user assistance (UA) deliverables that enable users to deploy, administer, and use SAP software, and/or coordinates the creation of these UA deliverables.
• UA deliverables include, but are not limited to, terminology, UI texts, guides, multimedia, scripts, context-sensitive help, tutorials, and social-media content.
• Passion for writing about technical solutions including ability to take a complex topic and break it down into easily understandable bits
• Excellent language skills in English including software engineering related terminology
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, UX colleagues and Architects for the timely delivery of UA artifacts
• Work in an agile development team. Collaborate effectively with a team of enthusiastic developers to deliver the documentation required for cloud solutions
• Researching, planning and creating user assistance (UA) deliverables in close collaboration with the development teams and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring that the UA deliverables are of high quality, adhere to standards and guidelines, and are written in appropriate style and tone for product and audience according to target group and target market
• Defining terminology that is simple, consistent, and conforms to industry standards
• Providing customer / partner facing user assistance deliverables including on-screen help, online help, e-learning, videos, and chatbot content
• Working on new user assistance concepts
• Proofreading and editing content for usability, readability, and linguistic correctness
• Use the software to test the accuracy of UA deliverables. May also write UA test cases and coordinate these tests.
• Representing User Assistance topics in scrum meetings
• Enhance skills beyond own core development focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team.
• Gives, receives, and implements feedback on UA deliverables.
• Applies all relevant SAP standards and guidelines for the given product/area, and ensures UA deliverables are aligned with them, as well as with the content architecture.
• Actively provides feedback on these standards and guidelines using the appropriate channels

ROLE REQUIREMENT

• Excellent University degree in technical writing or related field, alternatively a language-based university degree
• 5-8 years of experience as UA Developer / technical writer
• Ideally first-language proficiency in English or excellent written and spoken skills in English.
• The ability to express complex technical information in a clear and precise manner.
• Basic understanding of the Cloud runtimes like Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes
• Outstanding communication, writing and grammar skills.
• The ability to work with tight deadlines, deliver on time, and ensure high quality.
• Willingness to acquire extensive product knowledge and learn new skills at short notice.
• Able to research independently, gather information from subject matter experts, grasp complex concepts and develop product expertise required as a UA
• Experience with XML or DITA authoring tools
• Experience with innovative UA concepts for cloud-based services & deliveries
• Ability to use visualization techniques to present content
• Knowledge of German Language (Oral & Written) would be added advantage
• Knowledge of GDPR would be added advantage
• Strong ability to handle virtual teams across locations and lead without authority
• Ability to adapt to new processes and ongoing changes in a dynamic environment and deliver results beyond
• Good understanding of cloud concepts and cloud technologies is a plus
• Passionate about learning new Products & Technology
• Experience creating multimedia assets like illustrations or videos
