For more information about us, please visit us at www.wdc.comJob-Title: Experience required: Experience on Pre-Si and Post-Si validation and debuggingExperience coding in C for SSD embedded systems, Python for test automation is a plus.Experience with ARM, ARC or RISC-V architecture a plus.Working knowledge of C++.Preferred working knowledge of UFS or SATA or SAS or PCIe/NVMe architecture.Hands-on experience of using JTAG debuggers and In circuit Emulators such as Lauterbach, Green Hills, D-STREAM, Keil etc. would be an added advantageHands-on experience in executing and debugging in Pre-Si emulation platforms like Palladium, Veloce, FPGA, Simulation environments would be as added advantage.Responsibilities: Pre-Si and Post-Si Validation of UFS/SATA/PCIe/NVME memory product with Host platforms from different OEM/Chipset vendorsDevelop/execute/debug test cases in Pre-Sillicon Validation on Palladium, FPGA and in-house emulators.Develop and port drivers and test Firmware for UFS/PCIe/NVMe/SATA/SAS/DDR/Security IP blocks for iNAND, RPG and HDD products.Document and Package the drivers as an IP that can be used by other teams.Debug failures and perform root cause analysis with JTAG Debuggers, ICE, Scopes, Logic Analyzers in both pre and Post-Si environmentsCollaborate with HW and FW teams.Mentor Junior engineers.Working closely with different teams within organization and tracking bugs to closureBe involved in SOC bring-up and Post Si ValidationUnderstanding the test scenarios and converting them into test casesperform tasks including SOC bring-up,Compliance and interoperability proceduresPreferred Qualifications: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech Degree.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact across teams and geographiesExcellent verbal & written communication skillsExcellent problem solving and debugging skillsTeam player who provides appropriate feedback to management & team membersSelf-motivated individual who impacts the direction of the company & organizationDemonstrated Leadership skills in at least one endeavorAbility to Guide and mentor Junior Engineers.Ability to operate in a fast-past environment while creating an environment where teammates feel appreciated & feel recognized for their contributions.
