Who Youll Work WithComputing Systems Product Group (CSPG) is a global organization spanning the Development, SQA, TME, Product management and Program management organizations. CSPG is responsible for delivering an innovative end-to end way to configure both rack and blade servers all the way from firmware revisions to I/O connectivity for growing highly complex data centers while enabling IT as a Service (ITaaS).Currently our product portfolio consists of Unified Computing Servers, both Blade and Rack models; and UCS Management software which allows simplified access and control to all components of the complete end to end solution. The Business unit provides an excellent opportunity to grow in exciting and expanding market of virtualization in the datacenter. CSPG is creating the vision, strategy, and products for next generation datacenter server access and virtualization. You will be a part of fast paced SQA team responsible for delivering Utilities and Tools for managing and maintaining Unified Computing Systems.What Youll DoIn this role, you will have the opportunity to work in some of the latest technologies and trends in Server and Storage areas as the UCS validation team at Cisco, Bangalore. We are looking for applicants who can validate the Cisco C-Series and S-Series Rack Utilities. Hands on experience in varied UCS Utilities which includes Host Upgrade Utility, Server Configuration Utility, UCS Configuration Utility, Driver Update Utility, etc. Prepares Test plan, Test cases based on requirements, designs test fixtures and test tools, execute manual and automated test cases, file defects and report results. Uses product performance information and other means to gauge customer usage to the product development teams. Review Customer Found Defects and work with TAC and Critical issues to recreate the defects. Design and Validate Customer use cases. Debugging and solving issues and performing first-level issue triage. Study industry specifications, vendors hardware documentation and design test cases. Setup and handle iSCSI, FC, FCoE, PXE, GPU test configurations. Execute tests, track and log issues and drive them till resolution with verification of bug fixes. Automation of manual test cases and execution of automated tests as part of regression cycle. Review PRD, SFS, Test plans, User guides and release notes. Chip in to overall test strategies. Participate in innovative Software test initiatives. You will be part of a dedicated team and open communications, empowerment, innovation, partnership and customer success are the foundations of the team. You will work closely with multi-functional leads like Product Managers and engineering leads from other groups to help define the product strategy. You will help identify optimal solutions to meet the product strategy. You will be hands on yourself, while you guide others in building the solutionsWho You Are

• 5 to 8 years of QA experience in Storage domain, especially DAS background.
• Strong knowledge of SAS, SCSI and SATA protocols and strong understanding of RAID concepts.
• Experience on working on solutions such as CEPH, VSAN, Windows Storage Spaces etc.
• Good working experience with PCI-E adapters , different types of HDDs, SSDs & Flash drives is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills is required as this role requires working with various stakeholders in challenging environment.
• Strong understanding of Intel/AMD server platforms
• Hands-on experience with VMware, Linux and Windows OS
• Good understanding of Networking Concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Firmware & Driver validation of server hardware(Online ,Offline).
• Project experience in Systems Management / network management domain is added advantage
• Proficient in automation scripting. Experience in Scripting Languages like Python preferred.
