Started in 2014, the center now hosts 500+ associates, for multiple Danaher operating companies focusing on Diagnostics, Life Science, and Environmental and Applied Science segments. The operating companies includes Beckman Coulter, Radiometer, Leica Biosystems, Danaher Digital, Hach, Leica Microsystems, HemoCue, Videojet and Cepheid.The IDC workforce comprises of various product engineering teams, working on development of software and hardware components of cutting-edge products for, Immunoassay, Chemistry, Hematology, Molecular diagnostics, Oncology, Neurosurgery and Water Quality. IDC has evolved as center of excellence for Cloud and data analytics, with significant contributions to the key informatics solutions. The teams consist of highly hardworking software & hardware engineers and development managers. The teams are supported by local Product managers, Quality & Regulatory and Intellectual property specialists.The inhouse teams works in close coordination with other global R&D centers at US, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, Denmark and Sweden. Located at the center of Bangalore IT HUB, IDC is housed at state of art facility, measuring 120K.II. Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities

• Design, plan and implementation of test cases, requirement based verification. Test script and test harness development and maintenance.
• Build and maintain test automation via HP QTP/UFT.
• Provide testing expertise, including building up and maintaining test scripts and test harness.
• Participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture, and detailed design documents.
• Participate productively in estimation, planning, cost-of-quality, and quality risk analysis is desired.
• Build and execute test cases based on the system requirements specifications to ensure accurate operation.
• Testing and verification of components, including module test and target test of new features as well as regression target test for release.
• Reporting to various project partners.
• Ensuring full compliance with relevant work practices as per Radiometers quality management system, as required by authorities for medical device product development

Proficiencies / Skills / Experiencea)Formal Education

• Bachelors/Master s degree (B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech) in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or equivalent.

b) Must Have Competencies / Skills / Experience

• 4-8 years of proven relevant experience specifically in the SW verification and validation activities.
• Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects
• Must have strong skills in developing test automation scripts using HP ALM, HP Quality Center, QTP/UFT
• Possess good analytical skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Experience of working in agile development methodologies with an understanding of several aspects of SW development processes
• Ambitious, performance-oriented and able to work independently
• Operational mind-set with a focus on detail and quality oriented.
• Flexible, willing to go the extra mile while at the same time being an agile and fast learner.
