Job Description

    • What Youll DoAs a QA test engineer, youre tasked with test planning, and test case execution to improve the overall quality of our products. You ll be working with various leads in HXDP feature projects, test plan reviews. Design and implement test case automation and test library to support various functional teams. Maintain and triaging automated test execution environment like Jenkins. File defects and feature enhancements, tracking them to closure.Who Youll Work WithBe part of the fastest growing HyperConverged Infrastructure, HyperFlex product line. You ll be part of dynamic software QA team responsible for the core functional test team. You must have experience develop and maintaining test plan and test cases. The ability to work well with automation project leads, code reviews. Engage with users to discover major problem areas. Work with development team to analyze and root cause failures.Who You AreYou must have 7+yrs of experience testing a systems product (file systems, storage systems, operating systems, or networking). The ability to lead both manual and automated test efforts, test plan and code reviews. Able to mentor and give guidance to junior level team members.
      • Experience using virtualization technologies such as VMware, KVM.
      • Experience in testing clustered/distributed systems.
      • Ability to leverage open source tools for test development and execution
      • An understanding of file system concepts and protocols such as: networked file systems, logical volumes, journaled filesystems, tiered storage, NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, Shared LUNs is a plus.
      • Ability to apply extensive experience as a networking generalist or specialist. Requires experience with more than one of the following:
      • Experiences in developing test case automation and/or test libraries in one or more of following programming languages: Python/Perl/C/C++/Java
      • Experience with integrating automation test frameworks such as Jenkins
      • Strong on networked storage, protocol knowledge background
      • Experience in test plan design and test case development for complex software projects
      • The ability to debug and extend automated tests
      • Strong systems administration experience in Linux and/or Windows environments
